Hey all,
Anyone out there running a 76mm hybrid pre-turbo samco hose in normal position running at around 500bhp or more? Just wonder what the limits are of this hose instead of rotated job...

Stock location turbos are physically limited by turbine housing choice (ie IHI or MHI) & compressor housing size. Rotated mounts obviously do not suffer this limitation due to the 'free standing' position.
A 3" inlet can flow alot of air. For example the inducer on a GT35R is 'only' 2.4" which is good for up to 600bhp. While a 3" inlet threaded through the scoob manifold isn't ideal, it is a very good compromise
FWIW one of our bolt-on turbos (with 3" intake) runs 520bhp on our 2L car.
Jase.

Seems I have a decent setup for my requirements then as I'll not be heading over 500 bhp anyway...nor have I got the spare wonga anymore to take the next "jump" upto 600 bhp...car's mad enough on the road as is, maybe to mad at times.
