Thumbs up How do i de-limit my car

Hi i have a 93 plate jap import wrx, and i would like to know how i de-limit it.If anyone can help me that will be great.

scooby clinic did mine other week £107

still wont go faster than 112mph though well i dont think so

I'm with Elephant, cheapest for me by far.

23 5yrs NCD, TPFT, No claims in last 3 years, £1100 for a 10 months bonus accelerator.

A tip with Elephant is to add your Girlfriend, according to them, your statistically less likely to have an accident if your in a relationship.

My Mrs saves me £400!

I'm with A plan (UK Motor Insurance Quotes.) look at the grey import car insurance bit.

Or ask Moley wrx in the insurance section on here as he does some good deals for people on here

what about greddy speed cut defender or something like that? shouldnt that delimit the car?

It will de limit it (it does say mainly Nissan/Toyota cars) but the one that goes on the cable ,imo, is the easiest way (it was on my 93 wrx anyway)

I have de-restricted mine with what I bought of e-bay and is fine Find SUBARU IMPREZA SPEEDO CONVERTER/DELIMETER--(MECHANICAL) on eBay within, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 08-Nov-07 10:07:57 GMT)
dont forget to buy the lockwood white dials too I have bought mine from this guy before,Find Subaru Impreza (pre '98 import model) white dial kit on eBay within, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Nov-07 13:32:36 GMT)
They make the interior look better.

hi just had a scott t chip hes on here you could get 1 for around 150 pounds its a piece of **** to fit and it delimits increases boost ans gives better mpg also make car run so much smoother all in one chip

rite.. all you need to do it buy a kit on ebay 50 60 quid! there piece of **** to conect. you dont need to change the clocks they will read in mph with the converter on! it will also move the 112mph limit aswel

sorry to hijack, but just got my scoob, reads and records in mph, but restricted to 120 mph, will this already have sum kind of convertor fitted, and will it need to be removed b4 fitting a de-limiter, if so any ideas where it will be?

rite! by the sound of it you've got the limited edition 555 box or an RA gearbox! have a look at the number on the gearbox! located near the starter motor

ive had mine de limited at scooby clinic so my clocks now read in mph but it still only goes 112mph why?

cudnt c into the gearbox properly, just noticed 2 stickers on the bell housing where the starter motor fits, they were the first 4 digits on 1 of them

yeah it'll work but being the RA you'll only get 120mph-ish
