Default HELP, lots of smoke

Driving to work this morning, overtaking as you do (on full boost) (1bar) and then lost all boost! couple of seconds later lots and lots and lots of smoke out the back! First thoughts wur "Turbo's gone" So i parked the car up and got a lift home, Went back and slapped another turbo on it... As you can guess oil everywhere! Intercooler was full, the works! Anyway cleaned it all out and started her up again! Now i havnt driven it but looking at the boost guage she's boosting again but still loads of smoke! there's less smoke from a house on fire! Engine still runs fine... I've left the car ticking over for a while so it's not just the case it needs clearing out!

Help Please???

Piston ring maybee???

Cheers Guys
Craig

most likely just burning off the excess oil thats seeped through, wouldnt worry just as long as it gets less and less you should be fine.

If the oil has continued to go down after you replaced the turbo also being consistent with the smoke form the exhaust, this would suggest possible piston/Ring damage.

I would suggest a compression/ leak down test. Also remove the pugs and check for oil and if any one plug has been oild more, do this by wiping the plug tip on your hand. It should give some indication on which cylinder is at fault.
