Quick Q - Changing a back box does these require a remap?
OK
The senario -
I purchase a well modified classic with all the mods having been mapped for by the previous owner by a decent mapper but it hasnt got the back box I want.
I have a real thing for TSLfirestorm and Afterburner Vortex back boxes.
If I was to put this on to a car, it would be the only thing I changed.
Would this greatly effect things.
1. All major mods should really be mapped for - especialy ones that effect the intake and expulsion of air!
2. But if the car has been mapped well to take acount of all the other mods including the rest of the exhaust can I get away with just changing one big back box for another and not going to the expense of getting the car mapped all over again.
Thanks
Steve
