Probably a stupid question, but as V-power is now just under 109.9 a litre where I am!!! I feel up more often with Tesco 99 - 103.9. Will it hurt if I just use one or the other, just I get sod all for my money with V-Power when the results seem the same!

I use both in my 93 wrx and the car doesn't mind ( i do seem to get slightly better mileage out of Vpower though)

Go with your gut instinct and run the Tesco 99. Mine was mapped up for V-Power, but let's face it, when Shell rip us all off to the tune of 7p/litre more than standard unleaded, and Tesco are only 4p/litre more for 99, you've got to draw the line somewhere and say enough is enough. E.g. today - I put some petrol in; I can either go to Shell and pay 109.9 for V-Power, or go for Tesco 99 at 102.9, minus the 5p/litre discount ticket my wife got for me when she did the weekly shop... It's a 'no brainer' as they say - a 60 litre fill up at Shell is £65.94 and the same fill up at Tesco is £58.74. Or to put it another way, Tesco give me 7 litres of free petrol, or a gallon and a half, so that keeps me motoring for another two days before I have to fill up.

I've heard all the rich boys coming on forums for years saying how supermarket petrol is no good, Shell is only a few pence extra, blah blah. Bull****. Now petrol's over a pound a litre, I'll go with whoever's cheapest. And what bloody good is 'V-Power Club' anyway. You get something like a tenner in petrol vouchers after spending 2 or 3 grand on petrol. What a rip-off.
