hey there. This is my first scooby and need some general points and tips on replacing the radiator. i have a new radiator ready to swap , can it be done by one person, will the car need to be jacked up? is it advisable to run some flush through the system once the new radiator is on as it was chucking out loads of rusty water?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks

only need to lift it to get to bottom hose although maybe able to without depending on front lip spoiler and suspension height.
undo jubilee clips top and bottom and top small hose.. unplug the rad fans, undo the 12mm bolts on the top brackets... lift out the rad..
I would run the hose in the coolant tank to clean out as much as possible the rusty water..
fit new rad... leave the top hose off at the engine end and fill the rad up with the hose the fit top hose.. fill header tank..
plug the rad fan back in!
run the engine with header tank cap off.. topping the water up as it drops... once it starts coming out of the header cap put the cap on...
monitor the temp gauge whilst it warms up and turn off if it goes above normal...
check water level after a drive
