Increased charge temps, running lean, fuel cut, melting pistons.
What are you getting at??

Too much boost and increasing boost are too completely different things.
Are you asking about overboosting? or you would like to run more boost?

Having abit of trouble controlling boost in 5th and 6th. 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th all spot on. had it mapped all okay, until i got home. boost doesnt seem to stop in 6th . trying to find the problem, could it be a hose, air leak, mapping problem, boost solenoid, dump valve, leaking gasket? i have looked with my limited knowledge and if it something simple i would sort myself, before i go back to my mapper.

What boost are you seeing? Does it climb very quickly and over boost in top gear, or does it creep up, it should hit fuel cut if this has not been modified by the mapper.
Need more info.
