Default I have a mouse stuck in my steering column!

Hi all,

Very recently, my good old scoob has apparently begun providing shelter to cold, homeless mice!

I have a squeak coming from the wheel / column when turning it in right direction fast, which has now become annoying! It sounds like a lubrication problem, something rubbing but I wonder if anyone here has had the same sort of thing?

Also my front suspension has also decided to make some noise in the cold, sounding very similar to an old creaky matress. I guess the mice needed something to sleep on!

Once warm, all is ok, but the cold weather has apparently caused some niggling issues to raise their ugly heads!

Any advice would be great!

Cheers

Might be condensation causing dry rubber bushes to creak/squeak, or the cold hardening the rubber and same result.
Try spraying some WD40 on the anti-roll bar bushes and track rod bushes etc.

Thought it might have something to do with the cold....will give that a try and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply
