Default Splutter Splutter ?????

Alright there, I'm not, wel not until I've sorted a problem. The problem is only when the engine is cold, when I pull away very very slow its ok but if i let the revs get over 3000 the car splutters as if its fuel starvation. As this is my first impreza i was wondering if this is maybe a common thing or is it just the same as when i've had other cars where a good service will sort. The car is a 98 turbo terzo but that don't matter cos it has a 2.5 legacy bottom with red top sti top and an apexi power fc. Please help i don't mind throwing money at the car but i want to throw it in the right direction. Thanks.

possibly a mapping issue.. talk to who mapped it?

unusual to see cold running problems on the Apexi though.. usually falls into place once the hot running is set up.
