What would happen if i run
MY99/00 Sti prodrive proformance ecu with either a vf28 or vf22 if i bolted it on the weekend
then went out for a drive...
Would this be ok??

isit better getting the a MY00 standard ecu remap???
Or remapping the PPP ECU
Or could i buy an MY99 STI ECU To Bolt ON
If i get a standard ECU to remap what the price for that???

the ppp ecu is worth keeping or selling on.. so standard one better to get mapped as current contents is over written any way.
the jdm ecu won't work either as engine internals are different..

if you can get the boost under control either by messing with the restrictor or another boost controller then a standard ae802 MY00 ECU would be OK as long as you keep it around 1.2bar.
A prodrive ECU would be different though as they run a bit more aggressive (can't remember whether their leaner or more advanced, but it's one of the 2).

If you fit a standard STI ECU this will expect different Cams so fuelling and timing would be wrong.
If you require a bigger turbo, you will need a re-map, cheapest option would be sell you’re PPP ECU, obtain a standard ECU AE800 801 or 802 and get this re-mapped, jolly green monster I believe can do this, amongst others.
