no.. the ppp ecu is expecting a TD04.. the fuelling and ignition would be wrong for the new turbo.. better to get the ecu remapped.

the ppp ecu is worth keeping or selling on.. so standard one better to get mapped as current contents is over written any way.

the jdm ecu won't work either as engine internals are different..

classic pricing www.JollyGreenMonster.com - Engine management specialist

GEMS remap is on a GEMS ecu which you don't have..

Ecutek is the option for remapping standard ecu.

ebay the ppp.. something like 100~150 as a guess though, maybe more.

if you can get the boost under control either by messing with the restrictor or another boost controller then a standard ae802 MY00 ECU would be OK as long as you keep it around 1.2bar.
A prodrive ECU would be different though as they run a bit more aggressive (can't remember whether their leaner or more advanced, but it's one of the 2).

David, thought we been through this loop in another thread, If you explain what you want to achieve/fit to your car it would help, The PPP is a re-mapped STI ECU by prodrive, for the UK market on the MY99/00.
If you fit a standard STI ECU this will expect different Cams so fuelling and timing would be wrong.

If you require a bigger turbo, you will need a re-map, cheapest option would be sell you’re PPP ECU, obtain a standard ECU AE800 801 or 802 and get this re-mapped, jolly green monster I believe can do this, amongst others.
