I have a 1995 wrx, I just had a decat fitted, and now have a few issues!!!
When on boost there is a loud whoosping noise (boost leak) poss, but it still boosts? what main pipes do I check? any1 have an image?
ALSO, after I dump and turbo spools back down, it has a kinda whistle noise?
Any help would be great.
thanks

If you have still got a TMIC I would remove and check for leaks. The jubilee clips can sometimes bite through the rubber/silicone or not have been tightened up.
A leak will be quite apparent as there should be a little oil blown at the leak.

Yeah real easy. Undo the 2 bolts on the bracket retaining the TMIC. Loosen the jubilee clips arount he throttle body, dump valve, and turbo compressor side. Slide back and up.
You will see a little bit of oil in the TMIC so dont panic is quite normal.
As about look for perished/split rubber. And oil marks from loose fittings.
If still no joy. check all the boost pipe network. These run from the boost solenoid, found mounted on the drivers strut, to the turbo wastegate/compressor and inlet manifold.
Let us know your findings,
Mike

Just got back form work now, and noticed a crunching, cracking noise , as though something was coming off?
Then stopped cra, left for 5 mins, then went round block again and no noises at all?
any idea's?, sounded as though somethign was scraping, or sothing, does any1 else have problesm with decat downpipe?
unsure whether to drive or not?

When putting a bell mouthed DP on the heat shield has to be slightly modified to fit over it. So as Mike799 says check the heat shield. Bes to look from under the car and see what sort of clearance you have between the heat shield and the DP.
