Default Boost pressure/ Apexi?/ Something

Hi
Another day another problem, checking my vac pipes earlier and found them all to be connected correctly, but the pipe from the compressor housing to the boost solinoid has no vacum hence no negative pressure reading on the Apexi commander.

If I take the pressure off the intake manifold then I get a negative reading, the car drives crap as well, hesitating and appears to be overfuelling.

WHY?

Got a FM intercooler and all the pipes are connected up.

Thanks to JGM for the repply to my earlier question

Is that the intake pipework and the cone air filter?

Thanks Again.

No blockage or splits in the vac pipe, Took the pipe off the compressor housing nipple and theres no negative pressure from just the nipple.

Any more advice or is it just a case of stripping all the intercooler pipe work off and looking for a leak.

Thanks again appreciate the help.

Hi
If I attach the vac line to the intake then I get neg pressure, just taken off all my IC pipe work and refitted, still got the problem though.
only pipe I havent removed is the turbo intake, would a leak before or after the turbo cause the neutral pressure issue at the compresor ???? with the neg pressure at the intake manifold.

Really got me confused now, also anyone got any tips on finding a small leak, nothing visible on looking.

Also its a 3 port solenoid and the bottom pipe with the restrictor has neg pressure as well, when connected to the intake manifold, guessing this is correct.

Thanks again JGM. If I ever get the car sorted I'll be on the phone to you for the remap.

finding a small leak - pump to pump up the pipework..

3port should be plumbed
top to compressor cover, middle to actuator, bottom to air intake pipe or atmosphere.

turbo intake shouldn't effect boost building, unless large split and the turbo is sucking in air that the maf is not seeing.

Thanks JGM found the leak by taking off all the vac hoses blocking one end and then pumping the air in. In my defence all my vac hoses are covered with a fabric, to stop them expanding, well at least that sounds like a good excuse to me.

there shouldn't be a vacuum on any pipes connected to the boost solenoid.

Ah, so the bottom pipe from the 3 port with the brass restrictor in it shouldnt vacum. I'll check this again latter then, would that point to another problem??

Thanks

Hi
I've got it plumbed to atmos but it's defo sucking not blowing or indeed netrual, if I put my finger on it I can feel the sucking. (easy tiger).

Defo plumbed like this as well
3port should be plumbed
top to compressor cover, middle to actuator, bottom to air intake pipe or atmosphere.

Thanks both forf the help, much appreciated.
