decatted car through m.o.t
what if any is the best way to get a car through the mot with out putting cats back on? anyone got any experience in this?

Depends what year it is, if cats are required it will fail.

Ive recently tried to put my 96 wrx throught mot with decat, no chance, ive now bought a sports cat and it flew through

Fit a cat for the test, remove afterwards, its still not strictly legal to drive on the road though of course!

If you fit a sports cat it will pass, or borrow a mid section cat, as it's easier to fit, you will have to get it hot though.
As said still not strictly legal, and you may get stopped by roadside test.

If you know the MOT tester, take the car when its stinking hot, and get it tested streight away, some times its enough to pass the emisions...

Mine passes the emissions with no cat and the silencer looks enough like a cat.

you will not get it through without a cat................ unless...
