Electric drill is too slow, you can use an electric die grinder with gutting bits, and finish off with stones, takes time to perfect so go slowly, i bought some diamond cutting bits, and these were great makes life easier.

Did mine with a decent electric drill and got great results. I used carbide burrs, stones then flap wheels.

If your buying the tools to do the job, pm Harvey you'll probably spend another £20 and get some properly ported headers that have been R&D'd with dyno results.

I got the carbide burrs from work but you can get them on ebay. Best to get some decent quality ones as the cheap ones don't last 5 minutes! Grinding stones and flap wheels I got from the local motor factors.

I bought my electric die grinder off Ebay (415v) new for £90, transformer box £30 and burrs/flaps etc off Ebay £20.
I finish the work off with a Roxxon hobby kit £40.
Some tool hire companies may also be able to do a grinder for a weekend to save costs.
