Hi,

I think my steering column bush/bearing has come loose or is not seated properly as the steering column feels detached when I am turning the wheel.

Turns lock to lock fine however you can feel the column floating around. Mechanic suggested it's either the bush or bearing that has come loose from it's seating.

Is this something I can correct or will require some work on a ramp at a garage?
