Not necesarily, I know there are two sets of newage exhaust lines (swap I think was at 05 or 06) and that the Americans didn't necesarily follow those, though I think the original newage was the same length bits with the US having what was effectively a decat where our underfloor cat was.

I thought that may be the case.

So.. if i was to get a Exhaust to fit an MY05 US STi would it fit my MY05 UK STi?

Im assuming i would have to go for the option with inclusive downpipe as their exhausts dont seem to have a 'Cat Pipe + Downpipe setup' and instead have this as 1 pipe (like the Zerosports Super Metal Downpipe).

Reason i ask is:

A: They have a massive choice, and i quite fancy a HKS Carbon Ti
B: The dollar is crap against the pound currently

I was told the Front/Downpipe is longer in the US meaning the centre pipe is shorter.
Don't know how true this is though.

BTW i have a HKS TI-Carbon on my car modified to fit a classic.

the model years are one out from UK to US.

Hawkeye for them is MY07 etc

You dont say whether it is backbox or whole system.

if backbox - yep should not be a problem
if centre section ... may be an issue.

Is the US STi a twinscroll?

Looking here (which is possibly a contender since Invidia get alot of good press over the water) it has a seperator in the middle of the bell for the downpipe?

They call it a 'Divorced wastegate' for more power and torque by smoothing the airflow down 2 channels apparently?!?!

Pls help!
