Default Andy F remap

I have an 02 wrx bugeye wagon.

Having it remapped by Andy F soon and I am looking for some advice regarding supporting mods.

Car will have:

STi up pipe
TSL de cat down pipe
H&S 2nd de cat
H&S de resonated centre
Prodrive wr sport BB
walbro 255 fuel pump
Simota panel filter

I also have the following available to fit:

AEM cold air kit - not sure of the benefit
new sti pink injectors - not sure if needed for option 1

I have the following two options

1.

Exchange for Andy Forrest TD04 hybrid with current wrx intercooler
Not sure if the pinks are needed

mapping £500+vat
Turbo£400+vat

£1057 total

2.

Andy Forrest TD05 16G with sti intercooler and pink injectors.

mapping £500+vat
Turbo £625+vat
Intercooler £250 unless someone can supply one cheaper!

£1572 total

Just looking for some opinions as I have to decide this week.

I would definatly go for td04 hybrid because of it's good spool up characteristics, but it depends on what you use car for mainly. i personally use car round town and a and b road driving and am going for the td04h next year. Motorway driving would prob be better with the other turbo, cause when it comes on boost it will have more kick.

Mostly a and b roads too. Leaning towards the TD04 to be honest. The pennies saved will go on some whiteline gear I think.

I have had my regular td04 remapped and it really pulls hard all the way up the revs, but it still spools really early. Thats why i am going for the hybrid. Don't think i could put up with more lag, td04 is just right.

Option 1 all the way for me, wouldn't bother with the CAI, but do the Injectors for sure. Maybe consider having your OE Headers ported and Wrapped by Harvey also prior to map as well as one of his Up-Pipes.

See over there for what I have just done with mine.

Who is harvey and where is he? How much would the headers and up pipe cost?

How much better is the car over standard?

Have a search for Harvey on here or send him en email to harveysmith1@btinternet.com, I will let him quote you a price just in case they have changed but he is based in Darlington just off the A1.

It is a completely different "beast" now compared to it with just PPP fitted (That was already on when I bought it). Spool up is even quicker now and it just keeps on pulling throughout the rev range (Sounds nice too ).

The other obvious options are the TD05 16G, as you say, and the VF35.
