Default help me please!!!

hi im having a bit of trouble with my my98 wrx when i stick my toe down it has just started to hesitate and wont boost up properly, the last thing i did to the car was take the intercooler off to put my downpipe on and this is the first time i have driven it since i took the cooler off, any ideas would be grate.

Hi mate.
Mine did the same when i swapped my downpipe on my classic my98. What i did when originally taking everything apart to get to downpipe was take the y piece off the intercooler, and when i attached it back on i didn't replace the gasket so it was leaking and wouldn't boost above 0.5 bar. I took the intercooler back off, then the y piece back off, made new paper gaskets, put everything back together and its sorted now!

is the downpipe a decat and is it 3" if so it could be overboosting due to making the turbo more free flowing i heard u could get a small restrictor ring in the hose from the compressor housing to the atuator
