Default Map sensor/s on SIMTEK

Where is it/are they? I`m guessing that at least one of them goes into the intercooler. I have got pics but at the moment I`m struggling to get them onto the computer lol

If it/they weren`t connected, would it cause the car not to have any throttle control?

Basically, whats happened is, I`m in the process of fitting a FMIC. The only problem is I haven`t yet fitted the sensor from the standard intercooler into the FMIC. I started the car and it was lumpy to start off with then it revved towards redline. At this point, I turned the car off, not wanting to blow anything. Could this sensor being missing be the problem?

BTW, The FMIC looks awesome, I have pics but again there on my phone and won`t upload

could well be the air temp sensor in the intercooler disconnected the ecu is seeing -minus values and therefore fuelling not right.. try plugging it in even if not in the intercooler.. it will be nearer to correct temp and should tell you if that is the problem.
