Scoob stalls when comming off Boost
Hi all,
I have a 1994 WRX JDM, I have problem where the car stalls as soon as i come to a stand still, when coming off boost. if i drive my car under 3000 - 3500 rpm it will be fine. so far i have changed the follow things to my car to help fix this. but nothing has worked.
Parts changed.
- maf and lambda sensor - due to emissions and poor fuel consumption - still got crappy fuel economy, for example at the most i get out of a full tank of fuel was 120 miles before i could easily get 200miles so something still wrong
- idle control valve - standing idle problem - which is now fixed
i also have FMIC, which i have checked all the pipe work and connections, which all look fine to me. now im kinda stumped on what to do to fix this issue. The only other thing i can think of that my HKS dump valve is at fault. i don't really want to buy another dump valve to find out that is not the case.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before or if they can give me some advice on what i can do to fix this, stall problem, as im guessing my fuel consumption and stall problem are most likely related to each other
My car has the following mods done to it:
- ESL board with custom remap
- Full de cat and back box
- 440cc Yellow Injectors
- light weight pulleys
- stainless steel Tubalur manifold with up pipe all wrapped up
- FMIC
- TD05 standard turbo
- HKS Dump valve
- 5 paddle clutch with exedy light weight flywheel
- 4 pot brakes
- black mamba induction kit
- Hybrid Technologies Electronic boost controller which has two settings for 1 bar and 1.3 bar
- wallbro fuel pump
Many thanks in advance

i was told when i bought my adjustable vent to air turbosmart dumpvalve that if it was adjusted to be to slack then it would cause the car to stall
do you not get different rated springs for the hks dv?
