Default im new,help!

helo,im new to this, great site by the way, learned so much from it,
iv a 94 wrx import 260,running fine for first 2 weeks of ownership,
den i noticed my turbo smoking and wasnt boosting right and was putting
oil up round the intercooler, turbo was boosting at 1bar previosly,
all under the engine seemed to be covered in engine oil also,
so i left the car in shed all over xmas til i got new TD05h turbo
from subaruautomania,,cleaned out the intercooler and pipes of all oil,
also bought new oil an filter as the car was low on oil,
serviced the car yesterday a fitted new turbo, got the car up and runing again
yesterday evening, car is only boosting to 0.5 bar now and is still leaking oil
all around under engine, seems to be dripping from front of engine from inaround middle of manifold,
oil filter is definitely secure too,any ideas what could be wrong?,car is not overheating,
i dont no much about the subaru engine so any help appriciated,im only 20 this my first subaru,

thanks for reading

first of all welcome, now when you fitted the new turbo, did you inspect the short rubber oil pipe that runs from the bottom of the turbo and goes to a metal pipe on the engine, it is a tricky pipe to connect and has a clip both ends, it is also hard to see, its under the down pipe and turbo, if this is split or lose it would drip everywhere, hope this helps, phil.

leaking from the front of the engine might be the front crank seal letting go. they are fairly well known to go at around 100k miles. as for the low boost, have you tried an ecu reset? 0.5bar boost could be the ecu in limp mode, maybe due to the previous problems. not sure how to perform an ecu reset on your year of car but it will be on this site somewhere.
