Default juddering/splutering.

hi people im a bit of a newbie so i need allthe help i can get.i made the jump from 1.8vectra to a w,reg impezza turbo,and its fukin unbalieveble.ive only had it for 2 days and im starting to panic a bit it feels like its juddering/spluttering a little on the build up before boost comes in any help much apprieciated.cheers folks

hi i also just got my first scooby been running on normal unleaded had same problem do you have to use the super unleaded

Try using 99 ron fuel either tesco 99 or shell V power (yes i know there both expensive) Give it some time for the ecu to register the higher ron fuel as it wont just sort itself out straight away.
The other thing is what apark plugs are you all using

cheers mate not sure what spark plugs mate but as i only just got car was gonna change them anyway so whats the best to use, does it perform better on that fuel then

Don't know about classics, but I drive a bugeye and it says to ONLY run it on super. Tesco 99 is far cheaper than V-Power and I haven't had many problems with it - Sainsburys super tends to make the car stutter a bit when it's cold.

stick to v-power should notice the difference Jim.

how hard is it to clean the boost solenoid wud it b better taking it to a garage

cheers for all the help peolple,ive only been a scooby owner and on this site for a couple of days and id b fookin lost wid out wid out all info.my babys back at the garage 2 get a few little jobs done and sorted out while the fukin **** paying for it so i shud get it back on friday running sweet as a nut.

Although if, for some reason you want to hold on to the bolts, Halfords sell specific screwdrivers to fit most of these as I found on when changing some bits on my old Celica...
