APEXI RSM G SENSOR - HOW TO MOUNT IT?
Hey up guys,
I've got a g sensor to go with my rsm, but i'm sure there's an accurate way to mount it. Do you mount it horizontally, vertically, completely flat....?????
I'm sure if wrong, it will give incorrect readings!
Could someone please tell me, cos i'm fitting it all this weeekend.
Cheers
Carl

The sensor has to be mounted flat or as you have said the readings will be inaccurate, although you are able to calibrate the sensor through the menu settings so a little tilt is ok.
Heres a picture of my install along with an s-afcII
The g-seneor is mounted between the fold down sunsade and cabin light on the roof of the car, found a nice space and flat bracket under the head lining I would guess this is a roof vent / sunroof mounting point.
