can anyone help.my 95 import sti will not rev above 4000rpm.when you get to 4000 revs its like a rev limiter coming in.will drive fine up to these revs and the turbo will come in but then hit 4000revs and it starts to fart.also the check engine light has come on at the same time.if anyone has a clue let me no as your help would be apreciated.

yes sounds that way you can also check the error codes and reset the ecu
check here as the CEL is on there should be a code recorded.. probably get code 33.

fix the speedo and probably should be sorted.
