wots causing it??

Default wots causing it??

if you watch this video closely you can see cracks of flames coming from under my engine has any one any idea wot is causing this and is it dangerous? cheers YouTube - havn a blast in my v5 sti ra v-limited

sure you havent a split in your headers ,,bit hard to see.

I'd guess you have an exhaust/Header leaking under there. Looks to be the same side as the up-pipe is connected.

definatly looks like you've split your headers as everyone is saying.
Fire in an engine bay is definatly not good!!

would i be loseing much power with that if they cracked? are they expensive to replace? lol dan i live in n.ireland that was freek snow lol we would get that every centry so had to make the most of it lol cheers

Going off what people have already said, the last thing on my mind would be lost power.

Get your headers replaced before you're looking at a burnt out wreck. Engine fires are very hard to put out.
