Default Whats this hose for-boost solenoid

Hi all,
i have a hose coming from the bottom of my standard boost solenoid (on drivers side strut), on a 96 uk turbo, but it doesnt connect to anything and its just hanging underneath my airfilter.
Anyone know where it should connect to??
cheers

on a 1996 UK is should connect to the air intake resonator box.
If you still have the box then the nipple it attaches too probably got broke at some point (the usually do).
Either try and re-connect it or blank the hole in the resonator box with a screw and leave the hose venting to atmosphere.

If you have an induction kit and the resonator box has been removed then just leav it venting to atmosphere.

make sure it is still the standard hose though and still has the restrictor inside or you will hit fuel-cut/overboost

Correct me if I'm wrong but that diagram doesn't have restrictor in correct location, it should be from the turbo compressor housing to soleniod.
