hi there, hw ru u all? i have a question to ask, i have a uk spec classic 2000 and the other day as i was coming home i must have given a touch of boost to my car as it was going through the revs at 5000rpm it suddenly jerked...like for example when dropping from 5th gear into second at high speed if you knw wat i mean. any ideas what this could be????.....my fuel was on very empty.....this has never happen before.

finally could sum1 tell me what are the symtoms of the clutch going at the early stage? would it be like the revs goin through and the boost not reacting?

early signs of a clutch going would be in 5th gear and the car starts reving and the cars not pulling. Does there car run ok now and have u tried it again?

 

could be boost cut if its modified or even signs that a coilpack in giving up, Is the car modified at all and does it do it all the time?

 

hi thanks for ur kind reply......the only mods are a decatted turbo bak system and a panel filter nothing else. today when ive tried to start the car it was turing at first attempt but did not start....second attempt it started after a few seconds. it seems to be rough in starting.... any more ideas?
btw this is the first ever time i have experience this.

i have started it but havnt drivin it. it was just so weird it was pulling and suddenly it jerked at round 5000rpm, then at low revs in second it was jerking a few times when i let go of the gas. i wonder what it could be.
