Default fuel pump problem

can anyone help.while driving my 1994 classic it suddenly cut out .after investigation found there was no live feed to the fuel pump have bypassed the fuel relay ,wiring and imob. seems fine at the moment but need a solution to fix for the long term many thanx.

So is the relay working and does it have all the required feeds.earths etc?

when you turn the ignition on you can hear the relay click.

Hi mate, my 94 wrx had the same problem,,,,if you lift the back seat,there is wires,,at the drivers side,,,you may have to lift some padding......there should be a small plug(2 wires each side) check that its not corroded ,as mine was,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

any other idea's apart from corrosion cant say for def but im pretty sure the connections were clean.

just had this problem on a MY00 classic,
it turned out that the fuel pump shorted when it went pop and actually damaged the main connector in the alarm.

If you check the pin at the fuel pump, pin 1 to earth, there should be 12 volts but mine was only 6.09 volts, i traced it all the way back to the fuel pump relay where i had 12 volts on input but only 6.09 on output (which goes to the immobiliser then to connector behind footwell panel by accelerator).

Apparently subaru sell the alarm connectors, contact sigma sam for part no.

checked for voltage with a multi meter and could not get any voltage at all.
