Default classic losses power at high revs?

hi there have owned my 95 import scooby for 6 months now but the last couple of months has not been as quick? broke down about 2 weeks ago found to be fuel pump so fited walbro uprated. seems to run sweet while driving normally, cruising at 60, and totally normal. problem is when you floor it and runs sweet through 1st 2nd and 3rd. occasionally and is gettin worst just flat spots in fourth and fith and i have to take off pedal aftrer 5 thousand revs. hitting 110 and just losing power seems to be too much pressure or something any ideas??

My Classic UK Turbo 2000 started to flat spot at anything over 5000 rpm, it was due to a faulty knock sensor, replaced it and it was fine.

Bit fiddly to fit and I think mine was £70 from a main dealer.
