Hi all im nearly there in sorting my car, my last full tank it did 90 miles so more than likely lambda sensor, but 1st thing when cold it takes a bit to start pops a few times then starts but once started it starts straight away all the time, would this be all down to just the sensor..........

reset the ecu to clear any recorded error codes.. then try cold starting it and then read the codes stored.. this would give an indication of the problem

reset and error code reading

You could read the codes before resetting it the first time but there might be some old codes stored which are no longer valid

hi, i dont know if this helps. but if u have a dump valve fitted try removing it and replacing with a standard one. As my car was over fueling getting about 100miles per tank, idling was really poor and my car would stall if i came to a stop after flooring it. i hope this helps.

do you know if the car was chipped or had an aftermarket ecu on before you had it?? If it was tuned it might have bigger injectors which will destroy your consumption. My lamda went, and coolant temp sensor and i will still getting 160 miles to a tank, long journeys too.
