Anyone know what the 40K Service Items For 2003 UK STI
Hi all,
I am just in the process of finally purchasing my 1st scooby , shes a 2003 STI Type UK with FSSH, the last service being at 30K. Shes just done a smidge over 40K now so I want to service her ASAP after I pick her up this Saturday (will obviously go for a little drive or 2 first! ).
Though this is my 1st scoob ive been a car nut for years and have also got a Mk 4 escort cabriolet which I have bare metal restored / fitted a 2 litre turbo in an do all the maintenance on so Im hoping to do the vast majority of the servicing on the scooby myself also. I've acquired a couple of copies of the subaru manual for the car but these seem to refer to the US STI and the serving schedule dont seem to be what I've read on here before (e.g. it shows that the cambelt doesnt need changing until 105K which doesnt seem right to me?)
Has anyone got a list of what needs doing at 40K, and what are some good suppliers of the bits I'll need. Any other advice for scooby servicing noobs is also very welcome! .
Cheers,
Stu

Check the PDF Servicing details on the above site.
Used them for mine and did a very good job. Gives you details of what you need.

Thanks RLE, thats just the sort of thing I was looking for. Is is best to get consumables like oil filters etc direct from subaru or are there some good places to order them from online etc?.
Thanks again,
Stu
