hi, not sure why you have alot of turbo lag, but my wrx bugeye seems to pulls really well all the way up to the end of the rev range, when i bought it it seemed to stutted and have a long wait for it to boost, so i cleaning my afm its made a massive difference and feels a totaly different car.

Air Flow meter, under the lectrical connector into the intake pipe just where it comes out the airbox.
A WRX 2.0 should be on boost at about 2,500rpm (a 2.5 a bit earlier) and have only a small amount of lag (its all relative and subjective, one person says he has 'absolutely no lag', yet I can feel the lag on my smaller turbo'd Forester!)
