Default ecu set up options

well i'm looking into getting my emissions sorted out. & the only way to do this is one thing really

get the car mapped

know i can do either of these but tight for cash

1) apexi fc (what issues do you get)
2) live map
3) keep this esl bourd & get a rolling road set up.

but i can get a new apexi fc for £450 delivered.
mapping is £200

thats £650
live map is £550

but with the apexi, i can sell my old chiped ecu & get a little cash back

fit a switch on the ecu so that you can run it standard instead of the chip, just a thought

Apexi is a good choice, simtek also and that allows a few extra things like anti lag and poss launch control at extra cost, plenty of threads with these discussed, not really seen what was decided to the best its up to each persons needs i guess, had no problems with my apexi though, plus the commander is an invaluable asset with its data dysplay to keep you informed of whats going on.
