Anyone using the excellent AVC-R setup? Its real trick...
Only thing that bugs me on it is the mid throttle boost setup, when I had a 3 port solenoid I had more boost in 1st and 2nd and maybe 3rd in low to mid throttle - it was like having a dawes on. It just seems a little lacking unless you floor it then all hell breaks loose on my motor - I'd like to be able to change mid throttle boost levels but no idea how on that unit, ideas please?

Need to play with the boost control pipework, tad on the large bore size methinks as solenoid duty getting to max therefore no head room for lower gears
sort it next time
cheers

Thanks guys. Ah, makes sense there Bob, I do remember you saying before that the pipework could be an issue due to its size. Its the only minor grumble I have with that AVC-r kit, other than that its mint. Guess real reason for raising it is because the car has so much power, having to boot her in 1st and 2nd to get going but then all hell breaks loose instead of having mid or 1/4 throttle control with monster but controlled speed, i def prefer the latter, nice power slides also
Cant wait for next time Bob
