Anyone recommend a garage to fit springs in Berkshire?
I'm looking to fit a set of Eibach lowering springs to my bugeye WRX as from what I've read on here people rate them pretty much as highly as the Prodrive alternatives, and I can't afford a more expensive damper and spring kit.
However, I don't just want to take the car to any old garage, as I've been bitten in the past by trying to do things on the cheap, so can anyone recommend someone in the Berkshire area who can either fit, or supply and fit lowering springs and then set the proper camber etc and do a laser alignment at a decent price?
Bulldog Subaru wanted £439.99 to supply and fit Prodrive springs which I thought was a bit steep....

scoobyworld did have a deal on the just after xmas for 140 quid i think but not sure if they have any left or the deal is still going, other than that think they sell for around 170-180 quid.
as for fitting i can not recommend anyone else other than lenn and mark at subaru4you in newbury it will be a bout a 40 min drive ish but will be worth the time taken i know sgt in taplow are charging 110 quid an hour labour i think the guys are half that at s4u. give them a call on 01635 353555, they also have the springs in stock
if you can stretch your budget they do a good suspension up grade from KYB ask them about it its not as expensive as you may think

Cheers Steve, much appreciated.
I avoid SGT like the plague - they quoted me higher figures for servicing and parts than Bulldog Subaru, even though Twyford is more convenient for me.
Must say the guys at Bulldog are v.good, it's just they're a bit pricier than a conventional garage, being a dealer - otherwise I'd use them...

tell me about sgt will never use them again
lenn am]nd mark are both top guys give them that call
if i remember right i had the set of kyb fitted to my p1 using the p1 springs, an anti lift kit, rear anti roll bar, and rear alloy drop links all supplied by them and fitted for 970 quid i think but you will have to add the price of the springs to that but boy what a difference it made.
i think they supply the dampers for 150 quid a corner if you could stretch the budget it would be worth it, and if you could go a little bit more then fit the whiteline gear too if not now when you have some more cash it makes a big difference to the cars handling.
this i sall my opinion though chap but give them a ring
