won't work with your age management / wiring and is a lot of work to correctly wire - why the query?? a later engine isn't automatically going to give you more power

think its possible to get it running. just have to be patient when doing the wiring and have cash reserve

just a thought on this, would it still need the wiring all changed over too if the heads from the v2 engine were kept in place of the vvt heads from the my05?

i know it would be a tricky job,but there is a 05 spec c full engine and turbo sitting keenly priced.just thinking its a easy way to bullet proof 350bhp/lbs if it was'nt going to be to tricky.

just thinking out loud really, have driven a tuned spec c and fooking hell it could shift some and was a lot quicker than my 320bhp newage uk sti......now i have my project v2 sti ra in my garage, its no slouch as is but with a lightly tuned spec c motor it would be hard to match

depends how keenly priced it is. You could have a 2.5 including fitting for around £3500 iirc

its hard to know,2.5 would be hard to beat as a road car but i really do prefer a more revy car.spec c just seems like a good choice as your getting a factory reliable motor thats going to running"set up right" just around the limit of the ra's drive train, gearbox etc.
