Question drops at 4000rpm

i have a 1996 turbo2000 wagon when i floor it the rev's die (drop) at about 4000 or 5000 rpm since fittig a full de-cat system plus up pipe,a TD05H turbo and a front mount inter cooler what can i do to stop this happening thanks si

Not sure mate. Have you had a re-map? If not, you should do so pretty quickly as you risk engine damage. Not sure if this is related to the problem you are experiencing.

is your speedo working.basically your car has went into safe mod.this means it wont rev over 4000rpm so as to not damage the engine.
mine did this and it turned out my speedo wasn,t working.also you could be drawing air in a split hose to the intercooler.prown to splitting.

sounds like overboost and fuel cut.. needs mapping or boost turning down etc..

Yup, i'd say fuel cut too.

Do you have a boost guage?

agree with above, fitting that amount of mods without mapping is a very very bad idea
