engine rebuild , now wont start help
hi all , just had my engine rebuilt , crank ,bearings , rods , pistons ,ect , ect ,
got it back in the car and it wont start , its getting fuel and spark but will not run , any ideas ? please ,

Any fault codes stored ??
Have you got the Camshafts fitted correctly - they are stamped Left and Right and if swapped over,there is no way it will start because the Valve timing will be out.
Right Hand Cams - Cylinder 1 and 3 - Drivers Side(Turbo side)
Left Hand Cams - Cylinder 2 and 4 - Passenger Side.

also coilpack connections (if phase1) are darker plugs to rear cylinders, same with injectors.. if connected wrong you get spark and fuel but at the wrong time and no go..
Also work cleaning the spark plugs as once fouled it won't start.
