poorly scoob
I have got a whining/grinding noise coming from the drivers side wheel. I jacked the car up an found that the inside of the drivers tyre is worn right down to the metal. I am not currently driving it as i dont want to add to the damage that is already there. Any suggestions what could be causing this and how pricey??? Thanks

have a good look around suspension make sure nothing bent or worn,if ok get some new rubber and a 4 wheel laser align done.
as for cost all depends on cost of tyres you choose,4 wheel align normally around £80 unless the tyre fitting place will do a deal on all of it.

thanks for that, my dad thinks it may be wheel bearings or suspension as you mentioned. he has also been advised to get the wheel alignment done and obviously needs two more tyres. Just wanted a rough idea of how much before he takes it to the subaru dealership.
