hi all, how hard will it be to remove all but manifold? rusted/rounded nuts? how much space is there to get into nuts? wud it be worth gettin new manifold aswell to get best performance out of it? wud be 3 inch, will there be bhp increase?? thanks.

Depends on if the downpipe has been removed before really. If it has then things are usually straight forward. If not then bolts can be seized and stubborn to remove. If you soak the bolts in some WD40 or similar overnight that should help things. A decent 6 sided socket set with various extention bars will help. and a (8mm maybe 10..mm sorry cant remember) spanner with a pivot head will help when removing the turbo heatshield.
WRT what size exhaust it all depend on your goals. Definatly get a open mouth DP.
Get a 2.5 system if you planning to stay under 400BHP then its easy to stick the center cat back on for MOT etc.
Headers and up pipe....again depends on your goals and if you want to spend the extra. Ported oem ones show some nice improvement to spool gain a little in the power figures when matched to a decent up pipe.

Just noticed you state you already have a straight through exhaust in "view my scooby"??

thanks for that. already have straight through but up pipe is holed, downpipe bracked snapped so insecure and pipe into back box is also holed thanks to the massive speedbumps where i live
