Hi Guys,
got a slight issue with the car.
The car details
2003 53 Plate STi with PPP
42.5K miles
The Symptons
Had a few problems starting the car in the cold mornings this week.
The engine turns over but takes a while to fire up (15-20seconds)
Once its up its fine
No idling or running problems
still driving fine with no loss of power etc so its not the plugs or coil pack
No warming lights on the dash either
Any warm starts are fine
my inital thought is the battery due to the cold mornings and the load that imposes on the battery/starting circuit and the fact that its still the original battery.
Don't think its the crank sensor as any failing crank sensor i have ever had makes warm starting difficult but i could be wrong
Is there anything else it could be?
cheers for your help in advanced
