Default what does it mean????

Hi There
I have just bought a 1996 sti ra and on the dash sits a device about the size of a head unit called techtom multi display monitor which displays miles per hour digitally and bprs measured in o.oo kg. Thats right you have guessed my next question lol what is bprs and what sort of figures should it be giving me?
Also the cd/ radio doesnt work so i presume this will need converting? Is it worth doing or should i jusyt buy another head unit, are japanese cd players any good? Thought the cd might have worked at least, just my luck!!
Finally it needs delimiting ,is that something that has to be done for mot reasons prahaps or can i leave that for now?
Any advice gratefully recieved.

Had a quick look on their site and by the looks of it it's something to do with vacuum

BPRS Vacuum Sensor kPa
BPRS Vacuum Sensor mmHG
BPRS Vacuum Sensor psi

but no actual meanig of the acronym

Radio needs a waveband expander.
Japanese cd player is the same as a UK one so if it doesn't work (with any cd) then i would suggest it's broken.

Boost pressure...And dont bother with the radio...fit a new one....Its mind blowing finding stations!
sorry didnt read fully BP is boost pressure...like PSI or bar....in KG ill have to check. weights are usually used for torque... Ie LB/inch ...only other thing is emmisions but KG is way too high.

Depends if you wanna go above 115 MPH...Otherwise you can get there just as fast. When you do the engine cuts like a rev limiter...If you de-restrict with a speedo cable mechanism you will have to fit new dials....its not so hard and there are some nice ones....search lockwood

PS MIL sport do a nice de-limiter...if you buy it and have trouble fitting remove the spring from under the speedo cable....mines been like it for 3 years and no probs

If your talking about a lower suspension ball joint..then ill talk you though it on a mobile

Clunking on full lock?...Are you a mortal or a scooby owner...Half the fun is hitting it with a hammer.......Im a qualified engineer but so easy is the scoob and such is its fame the local kids fix it for me if i guide em. Such is the magic of subaru...You dont need much just a set of spanners + 14mm sockets + 14 mm a few pin punches and a hammer....Its a rally car how do you think they fix em after they hit trees.....no specialist tools involved

Boost Pressure is measured relative to atmospheric pressure, BPRS is relative to atmospheric pressure at sea level. Atmospheric pressure reduces with altitude, so you need to define the reference level, to reflect that change.

fair enough if it was summer we could do it on your drive/ road....but dont tell your wife...she wont like us doing it in public...if i was doing the job id say 50 quid plus parts...but then im good and it would take me less than an hour.

If anyone says its more than a 2 hour job theyre taking you for a ride

I once put a whole front end smash back in a race in 4 hours...The Hydraulic pump broke and we jigged the car by hand with a screwjack....probably not road legal

LSD Limited slip differential effects mostly the rear wheels. Does it knock if you drive over pot holes in a straight line?

Whats the green circle...alot of the cars / excluding mine, dont have any warning lights!
