Default Oil - what's the difference between Low & Full

.. and I don't mean a knackered engine!!!

Checked the oil this afternoon on my 04 sti, and the oil is just above the Low dot (only had the car 3 weeks, and done 2k miles)

I don't know what oil was put in at the dealers, so I will be going there to buy it. My question is how much? I need to top it up from Low to Full, should I just get a 5 ltr tub or will 2 ltr's do?

Cheers, Rich.

A 1ltr top up bottle should be OK. As the cars new keep an eye on it, checking it every weekend would be a good idea. There is not a great difference between low and high, so add it slowly and don't over fill it.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't want to buy too much as it will go to waste if I change the type of oil I'm using.

Cheers.
