mot help with cat

mot help with cat
Hi i have a 96 subaru 2.5 with a full 3" exhaust system but coming up to mot so i need to know do i need a cat and if so how can i do this, ive ask the place were i got it from but dont have any sports cats in stock and i dont know if i get one off ebay it would fit.......
The only other way is to weld one in to my one.......
As you can see i need a little help

see if someone on here is local that can lend you a standard downpipe with cats to put on temp just for mot.
i put one on mine for the mot just had to use standard bolts between downpipe and centre section instead of the spring ones,to allow the doughnut gasket to seal in the 3" exhaust.

i did have one but left it out the front and it went walkes over night but if any one got a standard one i could use around kent broadstairs that would be nice..
