hi guys out driving me car last night its a 1997 subaru wrx sti wagon import
was driving fine for around 10 miles then started making horrible noise like someone had emptied a bag of marbles in there,im thinking its big ends,whats the score on fixing this,is it any easy job to do im pretty mechanicly minded and have done quite a bit on other cars but never on these,im kind of leaning towards getting a 2.5 litre bottem end any info much apreciated

 

sounds nasty mate. dont drive it anymore as you could put a rod through the casing.
dont think its an easy job first time round. if you have the space and tools to do it, it can be done if you also have time
