Default Bung fitting ideas

Is there any other option in fitting an exhaust bung without drilling a hole in the tailpipe? Iv just got a Blitz Nur spec & bought a Blitz baffler bung f(or when Mrs & little one in the car with me!) but not too keen to drill a hole in my lovely new exhaust.

Umm.. which Blitz exhaust?

My Spec R came with a bung and a pre-drilled hole.

i think drilling hole is only way, otherwise it will be flying out like a missile first time you use it.

instead of drilling a hole in mine i tightened the bolt from the inside of the baffle pressing against the inside of the exhaust and mine held fine for miles

If you do resort to drilling holes, I'd be inclined to either drill at the 12 or 6 o'clock positions so as not to be too intrusive.
Sounds obvious but how many times have people done something only to think a nano second after doing it, 'Doh....why did I do it that way'
