Right i,ll start from the top i have got a 97 uk 2000 awd started with mods and so far i have put on a turbo back decat /vf34 turbo/front mount intercooler/apexi power fc ecu/apexi boost controler/and had a remap/and it is maxing out at 5500 revs and can only get 1.4 bar of boost what is a safe boost level for tis car and do i need to put in bigger injectors 550cc ?.

1.4 bar sound ok, TBH it obviously depends on what how much det you are getting at higher rpm. You may be able to wind the boost up a little with FMIC but not by much.

When you say it's maxing out at 5500 revs, what's maxing out?

 

At 5&half the engine manegment light id flashing and it,s like it has hit the limit

 

what is the rev limit set at in the Apexi?
hopefully it aint knock thats killing it!
what level f knock do you get on the Apexi?
what percentage duty do you get on the injectors?
where are yo on the laod/rev scale on the Map tracer?

so many questions!

 

sounds like it needs setting up properly!!!

standard injectors will be at 100% at around 1.2bar
