hi there does any one know what spark plugs are good for my ver 4 sti jap classic also what type of coolent to use and how much in litres please ? thanks

Spark plugs NGK PFR6B OR PFR7B
Coolant i believe to top up fully from empty is around 7 litres i could be wrong

i think the PFR7B are better plugs used more for turbo models I THINK

6's are standard, 7's are for modded engine, they are a colder plug and therefore can take the extra heat

Arr, some would argue either way, cleaner spark=better combustion=more power Only thing i've read is that 7's may affect cold start but i have them fitted and have no probs

silent running

7's are one grade colder than the standard 6's. In theory this means they may foul up easier under cold running, with the trade-off being that they will conduct heat out much better when running at high power. However, as others have found they don't affect cold running at all, so seem to be a good mod for non-standard engines. Only thing is they can be hard to get as they're not 'on the shelf' plugs at your normal motor factors.
