2004 STi low mileage engine with a crack....

I got one from a friend of mine who has a garage and did an engine swap for a scooby owner. It is all of the engine, inlet manifold, injectors etc, they just took the alternator and a couple of bits off it.

What will be of any use from the damaged unit, are the heads any good on 04 scooby's, he said he's pretty certain it was an STi.

i'm having a 2.5 build done and need some heads for it, are the new age ones better or worse?
