Default Bugeye boost solenoid test/clean....

Hi y'all. I've been recently reading on various Soobi forums about cleaning the boost solenoid. Apparently you can do this by connecting the 2 green plugs (under the dash, switching on the ignition ( but not starting the engine) and using carb cleaner/brake cleaner to flush out the boost solenoid whilst it clicks away happily on test mode.

So, I follow the instructions and it seems that just about the only thing in the engine bay that isn't clicking/whirring/chirping is the actual boost solenoid!!!!!

Is this right? The car drives normally, surely a defective boost solenoid would have some effect to the engine operation??

This is fine guy's

If you want to clean the solonoid then remove it & wash it through with brake cleaner & let it drip dry. (do not blow it through with an air line!)
